God spoke to Elder Hudson W. Griffith in January of 2007 to bring the men of Henderson and Las Vegas, Nevada of all races, faiths, and cultures together in an inter-denominational unity.
He and his wife, Shelea started a monthly prayer breakfast to discuss issues pertinent to the men's spiritual, social, physical and emotional development.
They named this ministry, "Men In Search of Change" (MISOC). Indicative of the changes necessary to promote men to be more responsible leaders in their homes, churches and communities.
MISOC helps to mentor men in need of deliverance from addictions and those out of prison and recovery homes.

The location this month was held at Church of Divine Appointment - (CODA) with Pastor Dr. Glorious Powell and congregation. We were blessed with the visitation of 10 Pastors and attendees from 16 various churches here in Las Vegas and one attendee from
Apostle Lord Hunt of Chicago, IL who was in the city doing a powerful Revival at CODA Ministries.

And Elder Griffith is in the process of writing a book entitled, "Seven Steps to Understanding the Change Process", also to be released in the Fall.

Griffith, Founder and Coordinator of MISOC with excitement of what God has done during this provoking and decision making Prayer Breakfast are Pastors and Ministers who participated in the 41st Men In Search of Change Prayer Breakfast. THE PANEL DISCUSSION LEADERS!
The topic of discussion was, "Identifying the Hindrances that Defeat Your Purpose".
Leaders on the panel discussion were: Supt. Bill McDonnell from Ebenezer Church of God in Christ and Dr. Glories Powell of Church of Divine Appointment. Others who joined in the discussion were Pastor Paul Kelker of Fresh Wind Ministries, and Pastor Prince Igboamazu of (PIM) Prince Igboamazu Ministries.
The discussion raise some interesting concerns as many participants admitted that they were great procrastinators, used bad judgment in time management as well as lazy at times. After the panel discussion leaders presented their positive and inspiring take on the subject, many vowed to stand and not waste any more time in pursing the purpose God had given them.

from Pastor Paul Kelker of Fresh Wind Ministries.
By the unction of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Paul Kelker came forth to utter the words everyone is thinking, but no one is saying. It is time out for playing church. In times like this, we as Pastors should rally together in complete unity and be accountable to each other in good times and bad times, no matter what the circumstances. We need to be more intuned with what is going on in our churches, communities and our families. Prayer is just one part of the equation. We, as Pastors need to step forth and give a helping hand to release and bring honor and glory to whatever we are going through. For, we are our brothers' keeper. The world is watching us. What are we showing them? Let's show them that we love each other not only in word; but also in deed. Let's come together more in venues like this MISOC Prayer Breakfast and rally around each other in prayer, so we can tear down those strongholds that try to bide us.
As Pastor Sam Carroll of Calvary Baptist Church prayed one of the final prayers, God moved in a special way.
Deliverance came in like a mighty rushing wind.
Many vowed to no longer allow hindrances to defeat the purpose God has called and comissoned them to do for the Kingdom of God. Dr. Glories Powell of Church of Divine Appointment played a pivotal role as she encouraged many to stop now and surrender unto God, the Author and Finisher of Our Faith and do not let the enemy keep us in bondage; but fight to let go and let God. . .
Pastor David Woods of Word for the World Church in Portland, OR and Host of KNLB, 97.9 FM (heard in Las Vegas from 10 pm - 12 Midnight) graced us with his presence with a heart throbbing word from God.
As Pastor David Woods stood with Elder Hudson and Shelea Griffith, God spoke a word to him. "Mighty man and woman of God, continue to go forth in what you are doing to bring the body of Christ together in such a time as this. God is calling for Unity, Strength, Obedience, Integrity, and a Sound Mind. The blessings of God are surely upon you and he will never leave you or let you down. Continue to go forth - FULL SPEED AHEAD, No Matter What. . ."

We want to thank all of you who turned out to our 40th Men in Search of Change Prayer Breakfast for men as well as women on Saturday June 25, 2011 at Kingdom Center Church of Bishop George & Lady Tina White. There was a tremendous participation of persons from 27 various churches and as much as 17 Pastors were in attendance. The energy of excitement and enthusiasm was astonishing to say the least. Those of you who missed it, missed one of the better sessions.
The topic was “IS CHURCH UNITY NECESSARY FOR REVIVAL?” Presentations were made by Bro Tim Baker of the Las Vegas Rescue Missions, Bro Dale Davidson Manager of the Christian Keen TV Station Channel 17, Pastor Dr. George Stover of Wellsprings Christian Fellowship, Pastor Michael Hatch of the Prayer Center and Coordinator of the Unity City Wide Prayer Meetings, Pastor Paul Kelker of Fresh Wind Ministries and Pastor Michael Lowery of the Berean Christian Fellowship. The presentations were very inspirational and thought provoking. Everyone left with the feeling that Las Vegas is in for a new season of change and church unity.
Superintendent Pastor Bill McDonnell of the Ebenezer Church of God in Christ started the session off with the first of seven uplifting prayers which set the tone for a deeply spiritual encounter. The Meet & Greet Session united some pastors and members of whom had never met each other before to share fellowship and their business cards. Vendors displayed their products while others displayed flyers and brochures of upcoming activities in the Valley. Mention was made of Pastor Hezekiah Usim and Pastor James Harden who attended the first Breakfast four years ago and at one time received awards for attending every MISOC Prayer Breakfast in 2008. Pastor Glorious Powell of CODA Ministries was the only female pastor in attendance and expressed gratitude for the success of the session.
We, like the Children of Israel, are preparing to go to the next level of entry into the Promise Land after 40 sessions of our Monthly Prayer Breakfasts. Our sincere gratitude goes out to Pastor Bishop George and Lady Tina White for their warm and gracious hospitality in hosting our 40th MISOC Prayer Breakfast. Persons from eight new churches joined those from one hundred and eight (108) churches who had attended our MISOC Prayer Breakfasts over the past four years since 2007. We welcome new participants who attended from Wellspring Christian Fellowship, Canyon Ridge Church, Las Vegas Rescue Missions, Church of Greater Harvest, Hope Baptist Church, First Presbyterian Church of Las Vegas, Hartland Fellowship, Sunrise Mountain Missions and Lion of Judah Ministries.

The 39th Men in Search for Change Monthly Prayer Breakfast was a huge success!
There was a wealth of knowledge given to the men regarding healthy eating habits and which foods affect us
physically in a negative way as well as which foods affect us in a positive way.
We had the participation of 10 different neighboring churches and 6 Pastors who attended.
We would like to thank one of our Discussion Panel Leaders, Pastor Tony Howard, of Destined for Glory, who shared his powerful testimony of his encounter with Jesus and being resuscitated back to life after a near death accident ,
as well as sharing his own personal health regiment.
We would also like to thank our other Discussion Panel Leaders Samuel and Barbara Walston, from The Church at South Las Vegas ,who presented many interesting facts that surprised many and encouraged the men to leave
with an attitude to change their eating habits.
Many hands were raised when it came time for questions and discussion. There was not enough time to cover everything
and request was request was made for a continuation of Health and Wellness for Men.
The discussion was followed by a power packed prayer time by Pastor Tony Howard of
Destined for Glory World Outreach Ministries , where words of knowledge and healing were given .
We had a great mixture of young and mature men present and encourage more of that in our future meetings.
The men left with a wealth of knowledge on how to prolong their lives through healthy
eating , exercise, and living stress free and time managed lives.
A special thank you to Pastor Paul and Yolanda Kelker, of Fresh Wind Ministries who Host this months
Men In Search of Change Prayer Breakfast. They presented the men with a warm welcome as well as a tasty breakfast.
